What is a Public Adjuster?
A Public Adjuster assists a policy holder in preparing, filing and negotiating insurance claims.
A Public Adjuster works for the property/business owner, not the insurance company.
Public Adjusters:
- are licensed professionals hired by property owners to represent their best interest in a property claim.
- are licensed by each individual state department of insurance and can legally represent the insured during a property claim process.
- know the insurance business and are experts on property loss adjustment including claims delayed, denied or underpaid.
- are familiar with all procedures and insurance codes in each state in which they are licensed to practice.
And most importantly, Public Adjusters can work quickly to assure the most favorable outcome for the insured and expedite payments.
